Hi Team. We have an entire page on our website dedicated to our awards banquet. I think it's time we did an update, letting people know about our set date and that nominations are being accepted. Any thoughts and/or volunteers?

Hi Everyone,
I wanted to post a venue for the Breakfast. Here's what we were thinking: 7:00-7:30 - Meet and Greet - Council members will greet guests at the door and provide each guest with a name tag. 7:30 - Patrick will introduce himself as the MC for the morning and announce that Breakfast is served. 8:00 - Patrick will introduce Mr Waldie 8:30-9:30 - Networking opportunity.
I have been giving some thought as to how we wanted to orchestrate the networking opportunity. I am looking for suggestions however it might make sense to as a member from each agency to speak on it's behalf.
What do people think if Patrick introduces each organization and asks someone from each agency to speak about their initiatives.
If we are going to go ahead with this, I would like that someone should connect with those who RSVP to the breakfast and ask them to come prepared with a small blurb about their safety initiatives in Halton.
What do you think?

I think this sounds great. So far we have had five confirmed attendance and two more unconfirmed ( where people contacted me for additional info ). We're still working on the take aways but we're running out of time on those.

Hi all. I am back from Las Vegas.....broke of course. Sorry I won't be there to participate in the breakfast because of our DARE Golf Tournament the same day. Hope everything goes well. It sounds organizied so I am sure it will. FYI, I have booked the cafeteria for our Banquet in Oct. I'll share the details at our next meeting. Good luck

Hi all: I spoke to Cindy Lawrence (Safety Village) about the breakfast. She was totally impressed by the whole thing. She told me she has made so many contacts that will help her with her present job. She would not hesitate to attend another. Congratulations everyone, it sure sounds like a success story. See you at the next meeting
